Shevlin Marketing Ltd ("we", "us") is a company registered in England and Wales, company number 16300070, registered office 12 Dells Wood Close, Hoddesdon, EN11 9BQ. We are the data controller for personal data collected through this website and in the course of our services. Contact: sales@shevlinmarketing.org.
2. What we collect
2.1 Enquiries
When you contact us through this website, by email or by phone, we collect the information you provide: name, company, email address, telephone number, and the content of your enquiry.
2.2 Client data
When we deliver services, we process information necessary to do so — business contact details, campaign records, and materials you supply.
2.3 Prospect data (business contacts)
In the course of outbound marketing, for ourselves or on behalf of clients, we process business contact details obtained from publicly available sources or licensed data suppliers. This is limited to business contact information.
2.4 Technical data
This website is hosted on GitHub Pages. Standard server logs, which may include IP addresses, are processed by the host for security and delivery. We do not run advertising or tracking cookies on this site.
3. Why we process it, and our lawful basis
- To respond to enquiries — legitimate interests, or steps prior to entering a contract.
- To deliver services — performance of a contract.
- Business-to-business marketing — legitimate interests, balanced against the recipient's rights, and carried out in line with PECR. We screen telephone numbers against the TPS and CTPS registers before calling, and honour opt-out requests promptly.
- Legal and accounting obligations — legal obligation.
4. Who we share it with
We share personal data only with service providers who help us operate — for example hosting, email and data screening providers — and with professional advisers or authorities where legally required. We do not sell personal data.
5. How long we keep it
- Enquiries that do not become clients — up to 12 months.
- Client records — up to 6 years after the end of the engagement, for legal and accounting purposes.
- Financial records — 6 years, as required by law.
- Suppression records — retained indefinitely, because we need them to ensure we do not contact you again.
6. Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to access your data, have it corrected or erased, restrict or object to processing, request portability, and withdraw consent where processing is based on it. To exercise any of these, email sales@shevlinmarketing.org. We will respond within one month.
If you want us to stop contacting you, tell us by any means and we will add you to our suppression list the same working day.
7. Complaints
If you have concerns about how we handle your data, please contact us first. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
8. Security
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, including access-controlled systems and limiting access to those who need it.
9. Cookies
This website does not set advertising or analytics cookies. If that changes, this policy will be updated first.
10. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with a revised date.
